Youth teams went head-to-head with the sheriffs for some friendly competition as they were cheered on by enthusiastic attendees. The tournament is intended to give the youth living on campus an opportunity to get to know law enforcement officials, and to view them as allies providing a support system, rather than perceiving them as an intimidating presence.Assemblymember Christopher Holden was present to give a warm welcome and to hand out plaques of recognition to key supporters, “This tournament is for a good cause, and recognizes the great accomplishments and the wonderful community partnership between Hathaway-Sycamores and our LA County Sheriff’s Department.”The shared experience of competing on the basketball court built camaraderie that continued off the court when attendees got to know each other over delicious tacos prepared by Los Tacos. Youth had the chance to ask questions of the group, share about themselves, and create lasting connections with law enforcement in their community.“The goal is very simple: to improve the relationship between our community, our foster youth and our law enforcement,” explained Hathaway-Sycamores Senior Vice President, Joe Ford.Others in attendance included Christian Daly, a representative from the office of Supervisor Kathryn Barger, representatives from law enforcement, the fire department, Department of Children and Family Services, Probation, Las Candelas and PickUp USA Fitness.Located adjacent to JPL, Hathaway-Sycamores’ El Nido residential campus is home to some 50 boys from 6 to 18 years old at any given time. All of the boys are in the foster care system, and campus programs include Foster Care and Adoption Services, Shelter Care and out-of- home care for boys with severe challenges that prevent them from living safely at home. The youth who come to El Nido are at a critical crisis point in their lives as many have suffered from trauma, abuse or neglect in the past. The caring staff at El Nido is dedicated to helping the youth turn the situation around and to create more promising futures. The boys live in cottages on a 5-acre campus, where relatives, clinicians and case workers work together to reunite them with family. For more information about the El Nido Campus, visit www.hathaway-sycamores.org.About Hathaway-Sycamores:Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services is a highly respected mental health and welfare agency with 10 locations throughout Southern California. Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina posts confusing baby message

first_imgCristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend posted an enigmatic baby message on her Instagram before leaving for Italy with her family after nearly two months in Madeira. Georgina Rodriguez uploaded a blurred picture of her chewing gum in a figure-hugging black vest top under the words ‘Baby Girl’ by a heart wrapped in a bow. Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez travelled back to Italy last night Portugal ace Ronaldo and his partner touched down in Italy on Monday night with his children after a three-hour flight on his £20million Gulfstream G200 Galaxy jet.Ronaldo, 35, is now expected to self-isolate for a fortnight at home before resuming training ahead of an expected return to competitive football.Georgina, who has 18million Instagram followers, has treated her fans to a series of videos showing her working out in hot pants while she was in Madeira. She appeared to have a fuller figure in some, but no obvious sign of a baby bump. The former shop worker was the subject of speculation she was pregnant in June 2018 while she was at a swimwear fashion week in Gran Canaria, a month after she and Cristiano shared a photo on Instagram of him with his hand on her belly. She denied she was expecting again in a subsequent interview with glossy Spanish magazine Hola!, but added: “In the future we would like to add to our family.”Explaining why she looked a little big bigger around the midriff at the time, she added: “I’ve been from plane to plane and I’ve eaten pasta four days in a row.“I’m human. I retain liquids, my hormones play their part and I’m still recovering from my first pregnancy.”Former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward Ronaldo confessed in July 2017 he wanted to take his tally of children to seven. He made the admission during a Chinese TV interview while he was with the Spanish giants.Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, the footballer’s nine-year-old son, is said to have been born to surrogate mums like his twins. An Italian gossip magazine claimed last year he and Georgina had tied the knot during a secret ceremony in Morocco, although Ronaldo’s representatives later rubbished the reports. In 2018, Ronaldo’s mum Dolores spoke about Georgina during a magazine interview about her son’s love life, children and his alcoholic dad Dinis who drank himself into an early grave in September 2005.She said: “She is the mother of my grand-daughter. She is a future daughter-in-law. She’s not my daughter-in-law yet. She’s a future daughter-in-law. She’s a very calm person.”Ronaldo told Piers Morgan in September last year his most-treasured goal, an overhead kick for former side Real Madrid against Juventus in April 2018, was nothing compared to sex with his Spanish partner. His last post from Madeira was a stunning photo of her all in pink under a salmon-pink sky and wearing a face mask. The couple posing for a family snap with their childrenShe said: “Wearing a mask is a fundamental act to protect us all from the spread of Covid-19.“As the great community that we are, we can reduce the number of people affected by this disease and save the world with an act as simple as covering ourselves.”Ronaldo and his family spent most of their time in Madeira at a £3,500-a-week rented mansion with a garden and pool near the fishing village of Canical. They moved there from the seven-storey apartment block in the capital Funchal half an hour’s drive away which he bought last year. His mum Dolores and brother Hugo and his family live on lower floors of the apartment block.Last month Cristiano raised eyebrows by returning there to celebrate his niece Alicia’s 21st birthday party despite the coronavirus crisis.Ronaldo has been at his home in Funchal, MadeiraRead Also: Ronaldo enters 14-day quarantine after returning to JuventusOn Sunday – Mother’s Day in Portugal – he and his three siblings gifted Dolores a brand-new Mercedes estimated to be worth nearly £100,000.She showed off her new set of wheels off on social media along with a bunch of flowers her children also gave her, saying: “Thanks to my children for the presents I received from them today.“Happy Mother’s Day to all mums.”FacebookTwitterWhatsAppEmail分享 The 26-year-old, mum to two-year-old Alana Martina, gave no clues as to what she meant with her Instagram Live and whether she was signalling she was pregnant again. She also posted an adorable video of her daughter and Juventus star Ronaldo’s twins Mateo and Eva, pushing prams and other toys in the garden of the luxury villa they rented in Madeira before leaving for the airport. Georgina chose a Maria Callas interpretation of the famous opera song O Mio Babbino Caro as the backing music to the video.
