Housebreaking suspects arrested

first_imgPolice recently made breakthroughs in two housebreaking and theft cases.On Wednesday, February 25, at about 5am, Ezakheni police officers received information about the whereabouts of two individuals suspected to be committing housebreakings in the area.Together with the Ladysmith Dog (K9) Unit, the officers went out to a house in C-Section where they arrested a 27-year-old suspect and recovered property suspected to have been stolen.The property included a TV, DVD player and cell-phones.On the same day at about 6am, police went to a second house in C1-Section where they arrested a 22-year-old suspect and recovered two TVs.The two suspects face charges of housebreaking and theft, as well as being in possession of suspected stolen property.They appeared in the Ezakheni Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
