This Saturday, they’ll have another tough opponent in Northwestern.Before the season started, Iowa designated this Saturday’s game as the annual “blackout” game. As such, fans will be encouraged to wear black. It’s also meant to serve as the team’s Military Appreciation Game.Here’s more, via the school’s official website:“Iowa’s home contest with Northwestern (Nov. 10) is the Family Weekend Military Appreciation Blackout Game, presented by the University of Iowa Community Credit Union (IUCCU).
